Here is the evidence that blips actually is capable of working in the back yard. He can do all kinds of fancy things with his video camera, so I thought you should have the evidence that he acutally did work in the garden. It was very hard work to remove the sod and then dig a level hole, then fill with paver base and then level that. pheeeewwwwwÂÂ
The evidence
Move over Senseo
Ok, first of all, lay your head on your left shoulder and you will recognize the picture. hehehehe. And if that did not do it….it is a red Senseo with the tea pad holder(green). Lately I have been enjoying the tea that Majong sent me.:) It is a whole box of assorted teas that are kinda fancy and I just love them. I have been trying to get off aspartame which is in diet pop. Mirjam’s words keep ringing in my ears every time I take a sip of diet pop.(she gave me a major lecture on diet sugars). So, I have been enjoying tea. Tea does not really turn blips on but he HAS reduced his diet pop to 1/3 of his normal. Anyway, I take the string off the bag, shake the tea until it is missing from the corners of the bag. That is necessary so there is a seal on the green holder or it leaks. Then I carefully place the bag so the four corners will catch the seal when I close the lid. Push the two cup button and walla…..a wonderful large cup of tea in seconds. So, move over Senseo, I don’t need your expensive pads!
Completely gone
Here it is….nothing but a dirt hole.  This is a picture from where my cube would have been…..looking towards the flag (no longer there either) and across the street to KSTP. It is hard to tell but this hole is about 30 feet deep.
Treasured Friends
KW had a party for a co-worker who had moved away in 1999. She invited all of the people who had worked together through the tough times.(we were together from 1990) We are a very bonded group and we really treasure each other. We appreciate each others talents and dedication. Not to mention that all these people are a blast. What everyone is laughing at is….I had to set the timer and then run to sit down. It was very funny. It wasn’t until the next day that we noticed the two sets of twins on the couch.ÂÂ
I love these people!
I spotted a Swede
I spotted a Swede in the parking lot. Good thing I had my camera with me. I look at all the plates now. I am on 026. It drives blips crazy. I go through parking lots when we don’t even want to park there. On the way to Cub we have to go through the library parking lot……I make him drive in the left lane so I can see on coming car plates……hehehehehehehe Oh Sam, what did you start!!!!
Hey, Safety Patrol
Most schools started here in Minnesota the day after labor day(last Monday). So, first day of school is Tuesday. Early Monday evening blips and I wanted to walk Mona but we got a late start. It was going to be dark by the time we got home. Of course, with a pit bull, you don’t need to stay home just because it is getting dark.ÂÂ
But cars are a problem because there is no sidewalk and we have to walk by the side of the road. So, we wear a reflective vest. Well, as we were walking down by the townhouses, a childs voice from an upstairs bedroom yelled……”hey, safety patrol! I’m NOT going to school tomorrow!” But when I looked, there was nobody at the window. Of course
So, when we got home I looked in the mirror to see if we look like crossing guards……..hmmmm what do you think?
One State Fair picture
I only took one picture at the State Fair. As you can see, it is a good one. For those who don’t know….. 3M headquarters are in St Paul.
3M Duct Tape making the world a prettier place.
We had a really great time but I got two really big blisters on my right foot. That was a surprise because that is my ‘good’ foot. And we walk for 40-50 minutes every night with Mona and no blisters. Same shoes.
So, Blips went back to the State Fair on Saturday and I stayed home. Here he is with his 100 pocket pants having coffee before he heads to the State Fair express bus. I think he is so handsome! No duct tape needed.
This is what we ate:
State Fair hot dog ,Tom Thumb donuts, rootbeer, ice vanilla coffee for me and mocha for blips, pulled pork sandwich, ice carmel coffee for me and mocha for blips, ice water, Martha’s cookies(just a cone and not a bucket), vanilla shake, skin-on french fries, a water to drink on the bus on the way home. We each had our own hot dog, rootbeer and coffee. We shared everything else and did not get a bucket of Martha’s cookies to bring home. That was our plan to eat healthy. Well, we thought it was a good plan……do I still hear laughter???? I wanted to make sure I ate one thing……dots ice cream and blips wanted a rootbeer float. Everytime we were in front of the dots stand, I was not hungry for ice cream. Same for the rootbeer float. We were unable to find the tator tot hot dish on a stick. I would have tried that, it is new this year. Maccaroni and cheese on a stick is new this year also but we had no desire to try that. I am very pleased to report that when I got on the scale on Sunday, it was down 2 more pounds. wooo hooo!!!!! I guess I should go to the State Fair more often. hehehehehehhe
